Production & Sustainability

Mushrooms don't need a field – they need the right environment.
In our containers, we create precisely these conditions: controlled, sterile, and perfectly tailored to mushroom growth. This ensures consistent yields – regardless of weather or season.

The key element is the substrate , the "soil" on which our mushrooms grow. It consists of local, organic materials such as wheat straw, hay, sawdust, or cardboard – by-products that often go unused. Carefully prepared, sterilized, and inoculated with mushroom spawn, they transform into an ideal home for the mycelium.

Our containers, covering an area of approximately 60 m², are divided into specialized areas:

  • Production area
  • Sterile vaccination room
  • Incubation chamber
  • Two fruiting chambers

Every step is precisely tailored to the needs of the mushrooms. Once the mycelium has completely colonized the substrate, it begins fruiting: After just a few days, the mushrooms are ready to harvest.

After the harvest, the cycle is complete: the used substrate is returned to the fields as fertilizer. In this way, nutrients flow back into nature – and a seemingly waste product becomes a valuable resource.

For us, sustainability means a circular economy.
Everything remains in circulation: regional, resource-efficient, future-oriented.
